As the State Accountant General, Mr Sunday Igbaroola, prepares to bow out of the State’s Civil Service, series of activities have been lined up to mark the retirement of the accountant who has served the State meritoriously for 35 years.
According to a statement from the office of the Accountant General, the activities in commemoration of the retirement programme commences today Monday, 16th May, 2021 with a public lecture organized by the Office of the A.G, on the topic “Adoption Of Cashless Policy In The Public Sector”.
The activities will continue on Wednesday 18th May with a symposium organized by the Industrial Labour Unions in the State with the theme: “CONTRIBUTORY PENSION SCHEME”
The grand finale of the events will come up on Friday, 20th May with a Joint Thanksgiving Service organized by the Christian/Muslim community in the Civil Service, in collaboration with the Living Souls Church, Osogbo.
All the activities lined up for each of the day will come up by 10 O’clock in the morning with the Public Lecture and Thanksgiving Service holding at the Multipurpose Hall of the Local Government Service commission, while the Symposium slated for Wednesday will hold at Staff Development Center, both in Abere.
Invited guests and other dignitaries are enjoined to be punctual at the events.
