In continuation of its consultation with the people of the state ahead of July 16th 2022 Governorship election, the campaign train of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC in Osun State will on Monday 23rd of May 2022 move to Ayedaade Local Government area of the state.
A statement made available to the public on behalf of the Adegboyega Oyetola Campaign Council indicates that the campaign for the reelection of Gov Adegboyega Oyetola for a second term in office will take the Governor and the party leaders to the three major towns in the local government.
The Governor, Alh. Gboyega Oyetola, will on getting to the local government visit the palace of the royal father the Alaiyegun of Ode Omu before proceeding to Orile Owu, where he will pay traditional homage to the Olowu of Orile Owu before addressing party faithfuls and members of the general public at St. Peter’s School Field.
The campaign train will move to Gbongan headquarters of Ayedaade Local Government, where the Governor will stop at the palace Olufi of Gbongan to intimate the royal father with the programs and plans of his government for the people of Osun State when reelected.
The campaign will be rounded up at St. Paul School Field in Gbongan, where artisans, market women and men, members of the general public and party members will receive the Governor and the party leaders.
While thanking everybody for the peaceful conduct and massive turnout at the Flag Off rally in Ile Ife last week, the Campaign Council enjoined all to replicate this again and ensure that our campaigns are issue based and rancour free.
