A new political force poised to reshape the political landscape of Obingwa and Abia South ahead of the 2027 elections is steadily taking shape, following Chief Solomon Nwaigwe’s decision to join the Labour Party and support the re-election of Governor Alex Chioma Otti, OFR.
Chief Nwaigwe is a successful businessman, politician, philanthropist, and socialite. He hails from Amaise Umuokereke-Ngwa in Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State.
He is the Founder and Leader of the All Citizens Forum (ACF), a political group firmly rooted across the 17 local government areas of Abia State.
According to Chief Nwaigwe, his decision to align with the Labour Party and support Governor Otti’s administration and re-election bid is driven by the governor’s impressive performance and the transformative strides that have not only changed the face of Abia State but also restored the dignity of its people.
Following a private meeting with the governor, Chief Nwaigwe pledged to work closely with other political leaders to promote peace, unity, and stability, while ensuring a resounding victory for the Labour Party in Obingwa and across Abia South.
Arrangements are currently underway for the formal reception of Chief Nwaigwe, alongside thousands of his supporters and followers, by the governor and the leadership of the Labour Party.
