Owerri Senate: Chairman Orlu Elders Council Endorses Onyeagocha.

Ahead of the February 25th Senatorial election, the Chairman of Orlu Elders Council, Prof Francis Dike ( SAN), has endorsed and thrown weight behind Onyeagocha’s Senatorial candidacy.
In a telephone conversation, Prof Dike described Onyeagocha’s candidacy as the best thing that can happen to Ndi Igbo.
“Onyeagocha is the best among all the Senatorial Candidates. He is a man of great courage. We have confidence that he will provide effective representation for the people of Owerri zone, Imo state and Ndigbo at large.”
The renowned legal luminary and former Attorney General of Imo State expressed firm confidence in Onyeagocha’s candidacy. Prof. Dike charges electorate to ensure they come out and vote according to their conscience especially by voting those that will protect and defend the general interest of Ndigbo irrespective of party affiliation.
“So many years our voices have not been heard, our voice must be heard this time around and that can be possible by voting for Igbo sons who we can trust and those that will not betray the Igbo interest” he said.
Prof. Dike, who is also a founding member of Guide of Imo Elders, further appealed to all Indigenes of Orlu zone living in Owerri zone to ensure they come out enmasse and vote for Onyeagocha for Senate.
It can be recalled that for time, Onyeagocha’s candidacy has continued to attract support and endorsements from various groups within and  across Imo East Senatorial district as  many political leaders within and outside the zone have continued to file behind him.
