Governor of the State of Osun, Adegboyega Oyetola, has congratulated a former Governor of the State and the first interim Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Bisi Akande, on the occasion of his 82nd birthday anniversary.
Oyetola in a personally-signed congratulatory message to Chief Akande, said the unparalleled legacy of conscientious stewardship of the APC leader and elder statesman remains truly inspirational and a challenge to politicians to constantly seek higher ideals in their commitment to the service of the people.
The governor wrote: “On this special day, I express profound gratitude to God Almighty for sparing your life and for sustaining you as a beacon of pride for us as a people.
“Yours has been a life of deep inspiration steeped in genuine service to humanity, diligence, integrity and contentment. I feel highly privileged to enjoy unfettered access to you and drink unreservedly from your fountain of wisdom.
“For us in Osun and in the Progressives fold, your unparalleled legacy of conscientious stewardship remains truly inspirational and a challenge to constantly seek higher ideals in our commitment to the service of our people.
“On behalf of my family and the good people of the State of Osun, I pray that you be continually preserved for greater service to our State, our nation and humanity in good health and prosperity.”
