The Association of President Generals of  5 Communities in Oyi Local Government area of Anambra State has endorsed Hon. Charles Obimma for the March 9, 2019 Anambra State House of Assembly election.

The body of President Generals predicated its decision on the strides of the APGA led government in the state in the areas of industrialization, infrastructural development and human capacity development in the state.

The association also made a huge cash donation to assist the Obi Jesus campaign. The endorsement came during an interface between the stakeholders and the PG’s body held at the Oyi LGA event centre. A voice vote put to the members at the venue by the chairman of the union for the endorsement of the Obi Jesus of APGA was returned with an overwhelming yes.

At the same event, the women leaders of all the towns and communities in Oyi Constituency also endorsed the APGA flag bearer Obi Jesus for the forth coming State House of Assembly election.

Earlier in his remarks, the leader of media campaigns for Obi Jesus, Ogbuefi Harris Chuma (Ogene Igbo), commended the President Generals of various towns and other interest groups in Oyi Local Government area for supporting Hon. Charles Obimma who he posited has been chosen by almighty God to intervene and bring home the dividends of democracy to the zone.

In his response, Hon. Charles Obimma (Obi Jesus) expressed his gratitude to the PG’s body for finding him worthy of their endorsement.

“If there is any endorsement that is important to me, it is the PG’s endorsement. I am moved by this endorsement and appreciate all the prayers and insistence that I should continue in the race to represent ndi Oyi at the Anambra State House of Assembly” he said.

Continuing Obimma said, “I cannot thank you enough. I am indeed grateful. This endorsement I must say is the greatest certification of my general acceptance by the good people of Oyi, and I promise I will not fail you because the Community leaders and our women here have made a huge statement”.
