Partially Crippled Serial Thief Arrested By Police

A middle aged partially crippled man, Femi Okeowo, has been arrested by operatives from the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly constantly stealing unsuspecting people’s phones at functions or public gatherings.
 
The suspect, who had been caught severally on CCTV cameras, which had been trending on the internet for about five years, has finally been arrested. 
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that he had been caught about four times on different occasions on CCTV in different places in Victoria Island, where he stylishly stole phones at parties.

It was discovered through all the CCTV footage of the partially crippled man that he used the same style to steal phones. He walks into any function or social gathering well dressed with a folder, mingles with guests, gets himself a drink and then after the lost of attention by innocent guests, who believe everyone were around to celebrate, he moves to any phone left carelessly and stylishly place it in his folder. 

It was reported that on Friday 8th October, 2016, he used the same method to steal two phones at Pulse Ambassador Rich Tanksey situated at Roadster Burgers in Lekki.
Watching the CCTV footage, the suspect, who was well dressed to suit the celebration party of one of the staff of the outfit, mingled with guests, got himself a drink and then move to one of the tables at the reception and sensing nobody was watching, he picked two phones, placed one inside his folder and second one in his pocket before leaving the scene.
According to the report given by an eye witness, the suspect, who had been arrested on several occasions but kept doing what he knows best, was said to have been arrested after he stole another set of phones that were tracked and linked to him.
After thorough interrogation and having been found culpable, the partially crippled man has been charge to Court for stealing by the Police operatives at Victoria Island area of Lagos.
