CYRIACUS IZUEKWE
It was a kind of feast of absurdities as Pastor Yemi Tunde Daniel allegedly defiled a 17-year old church member and in the process impregnated her.
P.M.EXPRESS scooped from police sources that in order for Daniel to cover up the shame, he secretly took the victim to his personal doctor and aborted the pregnancy which has landed him in trouble.
The 47-year old Daniel reportedly lured the victim at Owolabi Street, off Branco, Mafoluku Oshodi where the church was located and he resided with his family.
It was gathered that Daniel had engaged the victim in sex romp since 2015 until when she became pregnant in 2017. When she became pregnant, Daniel took her to one Dr. Okunzuwa at his hospital called God’s Time Clinic at Adurape Iwajowa Street, Iyana Ipaja and terminated the pregnancy.
P.M.EXPRESS learnt that there was serious complication after the abortion and the victim revealed the whole secret and how Daniel warned her not to tell anyone.
The matter was reported to the police. Both Pastor Daniel and Dr. Nosa Okunzuwa were arrested and charged before Ikeja Magistrates court for conspiracy, defilement and aborting of the pregnancy.
They pleaded not guilty.
The presiding Magistrate, Mrs B.O. Osunsanmi granted the suspects bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum.
They were ordered to be remanded in prison custody pending when they will perfect their bail condition.
The matter was further adjourned till 22 January, 2018.
