PEARL Awards Announces 2026 Corporate Summit On Policy Reforms And Corporate Competitiveness

The organizers of the PEARL Awards Nigeria have announced the 2026 edition of the PEARL Awards Corporate Summit, scheduled for 16th June, 2026, at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Lagos.

 

With the Theme: “Policy Reforms & Corporate Competitiveness: Navigating Towards a Sustainable Edge,” the Summit builds on the success of the 2025 edition, which focused on “Built to Last: Roadmap for Corporate Nigeria.” The 2026 Summit aims to deepen conversations around public policy direction and reforms, corporate resilience, and long-term competitiveness in Nigeria’s evolving economic landscape.

 

The summit’s keynote address will be delivered by renowned economist and Managing Director/CEO of Financial Derivatives Company Limited, Mr. Bismarck Rewane. The Summit will feature a high-level panel of respected industry leaders, including the CEO of Nigerian Exchange Limited, Jude Chiemeka, Founder & Chairman of Proshare Limited, Olufemi Awoyemi. Other panelists will include Catherine Nwosu, President & Chairman of Council, Institute of Capital Market Registrars and MD/CEO, Africa Prudential Plc, Oluropo Samuel Dada, President & Chairman of Council, Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, as well as Mr. Bola Ajomale, Executive Commissioner (Operations), Securities and Exchange Commission, Nigeria.

 

The high level programme will have the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, as the Special Guest of Honour, and the Chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc, Umaru Kwairanga, will attend as the Guest of Honour.

 

The summit is expected to attract captains of industry, Corporate Nigeria key decision-makers, and senior government officials, providing a strategic platform for dialogue on strengthening Nigeria’s corporate ecosystem through effective policy reforms.

 

Speaking ahead of the event, Tayo Orekoya, President and CEO of PEARL Awards Nigeria, emphasized the importance of aligning public policy frameworks and reforms with corporate growth objectives. He noted that sustainable competitiveness requires deliberate collaboration between regulators, operators, and policymakers.

 

The PEARL Awards Corporate Summit has continued to serve as a thought leadership platform, fostering high-level discourse that supports the growth and stability of Nigeria’s capital market and broader economy.
