Peter Okoye, aka Mr. P of the defunct pop group, PSquare on Wednesday announced Emem Ema of the rested girl group KUSH, as his new manager.

Mr. P made the announcement on his Instagram page sharing two photographs of himself with Emem with caption: “Formal introduction! Meet my manager @vzhun. Welcome to the PClassic team…

“Her contact details on my bio…Work Mode! #Manager#Pclassic#coolitdown#formyhead”

PSquare, in September finally split when Peter set social media on fire after posting a Snapchat video revealing that he was in Philadelphia, on his own for a solo show – without his twin brother, Paul.

“My name is Mr. P, as from today, guess what? It’s show time, I’m about to go on stage,” he stated.

Peter accused his twin brother Paul of no longer willing to cooperate with him, and even gone as far as cancelling their scheduled music tour to the United States.

Peter stressed that he was tired of the “drama” and all he wanted was opting out of the Psquare group and contract.

He also demanded for a termination of the agreement as a group based on serious allegations against his twin Paul and their elder brother and manager, Jude.

Peter stated that his decision was a painful one as he wished his brothers well in their future endeavours.

He said, “What I am about to do has been the most difficult decision to make, I have tried and exhausted all my options to make this work. However, it seems that Paul is not willing to cooperate.

“He has also been accusing and threatening my wife and family of unimaginable lies via social media outlets. I and my wife have been getting different threatening messages…

“I cannot continue with PSquare in conditions like this that will jeopardize my well-being.

“We all have agreed that as long as PSquare is in existence, we can operate as individuals as long as it doesn’t tamper with the group songs.

“I wish Jude and Paul the best in their careers, I love them and their families but my family comes first.”

Peter’s new manager, Emem is a force to be reckoned with in artiste management.

Since the disbandment of the KUSH as a group that included celebrity photographer TY Bello and Gospel singer Lara George, Emem has remain visible with her ONE Management becoming home to some of Africa’s best talents.

She has been helping other established and upcoming artistes find their feet in the industry, also discovering, developing and promoting quality creative talent.
