Phone Dealer Docked For Uploading Lady’s Nude Pictures On Social Media

A 29-year old phone dealer,  Emmanuel Okoro, has been arrested in Lagos State for allegedly uploading a lady’s nude pictures on social media in an attempt to intimidate and have sex with her.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect, Okoro, was tracked and arrested by the operatives of Rapid Response Rescue (RRS) at Alausa, Ikeja, for conduct likely to cause breach of public peace and threatening the victim with her nude pictures.
According to the Police, the victim identified simply as Maureen, reportedly gave out her phone, which was loaded with her nude pictures for repair and setting up of some features on the phone.
The suspect was said to have uploaded her pictures and transferred to his own phone. He later chatted up Maureen and displayed her nude pictures in order to intimidate, obtain money and sex from her.
To prove to her that he had her nude pictures, he posted some of them to her while chatting with her and Maureen was devastated seeing her nude pictures sent to her.
She then went to RRS office and reported her predicament. The Police promptly tracked Okoro and apprehended him.
He was subsequently charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence.
He pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned.
The prosecutor, Inspector Ajayi Emmanuel, then asked the Court to give a date for hearing since he pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the alleged offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. A. S. Odusanya, granted him bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum, who must show evidence of means of livelihood and addresses verified.
The matter was adjourned till 19th May, 2023, for mention while the defendant was remanded in custody at the Correctional Centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when he will perfect his bail conditions.
