Athletes, coaches and officials of Team Lagos were the early birds of participants who arrived in the ancient city of Ilorin, Kwara State, north-central Nigeria just in time for the 6th National Youth Games.

The team left their closed camp venue in Bariga, Lagos early on Sunday and by the evening of the day, they were already in Ilorin.
