One of the initiators of the two million man walk and endorsement ceremony for Senator Oluremi Tinubu, OON, Prince Hammed Olanrewaju Mohammed, has given reasons a grand event of such magnitude is being organised for the Senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial District.

Prince Mohammed, who is also the Senatorial Youth Leader of Lagos Central Senatorial District is not alone in the organisation and packaging of the two million man walk and endorsement ceremony for Senator Tinubu ahead of the 2019 general elections, other initiators of the event include Mrs Fadekemi Otitonaye, Lagos Central Senatorial Women Leader, Hon. Tajudeen Ajide, Chairman Surulere Local Government, Mrs Omolara Essien, Chairperson Lagos Mainland Local Government and Mrs Omobolanle Obe, Chairperson Coker Aguda LCDA.

Prince Mohammed told PM EXPRESS in an interview that Senator Tinubu has been a woman of many colours to people of her Senatorial District, touching lives irrespective of tribes, religious, ages and status.

“Our Senator is a blessing to us not only in Lagos Central, but the entire Lagos State. She has been representing us excellently well at the Senate. She always comes back home to give us detail reports of her activities every quarterly during the Town Hall meetings she organised. Tell me, who among other Senators has been consistently doing this in the country?

“In the area of youth empowerment, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has always impacted positively on our youth. As the Youth Leader of Lagos Central, I know what I’m saying. Senator has made my work very easy because our youths have been resourceful through the empowerment programme and other social welfare activities to give us that sense of belonging.

“Widows, women, both old and young are not left out in what our Dear Senator has been doing to change the lives of the people. Our women see her as a role model. She cares for all as a mother whether rich or poor. You won’t see her neglecting anybody because of status.

“When you put all these things into perspective, you would agree with me that if we organise a two million man walk and endorsement ceremony for her, it is not enough to celebrate and appreciate her. The walk will start at Tinubu Square and end at the Rowe Park Sports Complex in Yaba. It will be a twin event because after the walk we will start a grand ceremony to endorsement her continuity of our representation in the Senate for another four years. We will back up our endorsement for her with full action to mobilise votes as the election is fast approaching.
