Police Arrest Man, 52, Over Defilement Of 3 Daughters & Neighbour’s Girl, 10

A 52-year old man, Kayode Adeniyi, has been arrested by the Police for allegedly defiling his three under aged daughters and his neighbour’s 10-year old girl in  Ijoko area of Ogun State.

P.M.EXPRESS reports as confirmed by the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, who said that the suspect was in Police custody.

He explained that the suspect was arrested, following a report to the Police at Agbado Divisional Headquarters by the aunt of the 10-year old victim on how the suspect forced himself on the girl and defiled her.

The woman said her niece went to the suspect’s apartment to ask whether his daughter was the person who mistakenly removed their clothes which she spread outside. In the process, the suspect forcefully dragged her into the room, covered her mouth with a pillow, had sexual intercourse with her and threatened to kill her with a knife if she made noise.

DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi stated: “The DPO Agbado Division, CSP Kehinde Kuranga, detailed his detectives to the scene, where the suspect was promptly arrested”.

“On interrogation, the suspect confessed having carnal knowledge of the victim forcefully, he also admitted that he threatened the victim with a knife and that was why she couldn’t make noise until he satisfied his sexual urge.”

“Further investigation into the past activities of the suspect revealed that he has been sexually abusing his three underaged biological daughters before now, which he also did not deny.”

The victim has been taken to the General Hospital for medical examination and treatment.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, CP Edward Awolowo Ajogun, has ordered the Family Support Unit of Sango Area Command to take over the case for in depth investigation and diligent prosecution.
