Operatives from MAN Centre Police Division, Ikeja, Lagos, have arrested a woman, Mrs. Taye Yusuf, for allegedly pouring hot on her son.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Oshifila Street, Anifowoshe area of Ikeja.

The woman’s arrest followed a report to the Police by concerned Ikeja residents.

It was reported that the suspect poured hot water on her son, Tunde Yusuf, just because he refused to wash his sister’s clothes.

It was also gathered that the woman, about three months ago, had stabbed the boy with a knife because he went out of the house to be play football.

The woman’s latest heartless action prompted the residents to get the attention of Police operatives at the MAN Centre Police Division, Ikeja and she was arrested.

Speaking on the dastardly act, some of the residents made their interest known for the case to be charged to the Court for diligent prosecution.

“Let’s save our immediate communities from domestic violence and insecurity of lives and properties. We want the matter charged to Court so that it will serve as deterrent to anyone who might want to try such in the future” one of the concerned residents said.
