Police Reveal Details Of How Domestic Servant Killed Boss

The Police in Lagos have finally revealed the details of how a domestic servant, Daniel Isaac, 38, allegedly conspired with a tenant, Emmanuel Chukwu, 36, and reportedly murdered his boss, Don Able, threw him inside water well and escaped with his Toyota Camry before they were arrested.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Owodun Street at last bus stop in Ijegun area of Lagos, where the late Don Able built a house.

This was disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala Elkana. The confirmation by the Police may have shown that it was not only Daniel that was involved in the gruesome murder of late Don Able as Emmanuel who was the deceased’s tenant was also reportedly involved.

According to DSP Elkana, on 24th July, 2019, at about 5.00am, Police operatives from Iba Police Station, while on ‘Stop and Search’ duty at First Gate, Agboroko area of Iba, flagged down a Toyota Camry car which was driven in reckless and suspicious manner. The Police arrested the suspects when they could not produce the vehicle documents. He said that further investigation revealed that the first suspect, Daniel Isaac, killed his boss, Don Able, 50, from Rivers State and dumped the corpse inside water well in his compound at Owodun Street, Ikotun. The suspect was escaping with the vehicle belonging to the deceased alongside his accomplice, Emmanuel Chukwu, when they were intercepted. DSP Elkana said that the intention was to go and sell the car and the suspects have confessed to the commission of the crime.
He said that the suspects have been transferred to the homicide detectives from State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba, who are investigating the case and they will be charged to Court thereafter.

P.M.EXPRESS investigation revealed that the deceased had lived abroad for several years with his family but decided to settle down in Nigeria while his wife and children remained abroad. He reportedly bought the property in Ijegun, where he resided and was dealing on cars. Since he was living alone, he brought Daniel to assist him in both business and domestic matters and they lived together.
It was gathered that Daniel planned, strangled his boss, threw the corpse inside water well and he carried his Toyota Camry car to sell with the deceased’s tenant before they were arrested.
