Neonatal mortality remains a serious concern in Nigeria, where limited access to life-saving equipment, insufficient training, and fragmented healthcare systems continue to hinder progress in newborn health outcomes.
In response to these persistent challenges, PPC Limited is convening a webinar titled “Advancing Neonatal Care” on May 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM, bringing together experts and stakeholders committed to transforming neonatal healthcare through innovation and collaboration.
PPC Limited, formerly Philips Projects Centre and Nigeria’s leading engineering and infrastructure development company with a strong presence in the healthcare sector, is using this platform to spark important dialogue among healthcare professionals, technology experts, and caregivers. The online session aims to explore practical strategies, share real-world experiences, and present advancements in neonatal care that can significantly improve survival rates and health outcomes for newborns.
The webinar will feature notable facilitators, including Dr. Chukwunonso Izechukwu, Assistant General Manager of the Healthcare Division at PPC; Mohamed Salah, Regional Product Manager at COMEN; and Dr. Ayodeji Akinola, Consultant Paediatrician at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH). Together, they will examine emerging technologies and care models that can bridge gaps in the current system and promote sustainable solutions for neonatal care.
