Nigeria’s President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has accepted the invitation of Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, to commission some projects in the state on Wednesday.
Gov Wike had in a letter dated April 8, invited Asiwaju Tinubu to commission the Rumuola/Rumuokwuta Flyover and, the new Magistrate Courts Complex on May 3 and May 4.
A source close to Tinubu confirmed the President-elect has accepted the invitation and will personally attend the events.
Wike had before the general elections also invited politicians from other political parties to commission projects in the state.
Some of these include Labour Party Presidential, Candidate Peter Obi, former All Progressives Congress National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.
