President Bola Tinubu has sent his warm congratulatory message to a seasoned banker and distinguished philanthropist, Dr (Mrs) Foluke Kafayat Abdulrazaq, on her 70th birthday, describing her as a beacon of hope and generosity.
President Tinubu in a statement by Bayo Onanuga Special Adviser to the President, Information & Strategy, acknowledges Mrs Abdulrazaq’s remarkable life of service, integrity, professionalism, diligence, and compassion, noting her significant contributions to Nigeria’s public and private sectors.
“Foluke is a proud and hard-working professional whose expertise as a banker, boardroom guru, and educationist of high reputation has impacted our country positively.”
President Tinubu recalls that as a pioneer female Commissioner of Finance in Lagos State between June 1997 and September 1998 and later Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, she contributed immensely towards the entrenchment of fiscal discipline and women’s development in Lagos.
Noting she have left an enduring legacy of service to Lagos State that the nation is proud of her records.
