The Secretary to the Local Government, Ikeja LGA, Lagos State, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu after his nationwide address.
Comrade Dauda, who is the Chairman, Conference Of SLGs, Lagos State, hailed the President for listening to the yearnings of the citizens. He said it takes only a courageous leader like Tinubu to put his people first over everything and seek long-term solutions for a long-term problem rather than short-term fixes. He equally hailed him for reiterating his visions for the progress of the country.
According to him, he is moved by the impactful and willful strides of the President in managing the country’s affairs as evidenced in the efforts of his administration to increase the country’s reserve, clear backlogs, reduce the burden of loans, job and wealth creation through training and skills acquisition, attracting investors through infrastructural developments, and bringing back power to the people as a dividend for democracy, among others as entrenched in his Renewed Hope promises are all yielding positive results.
Comrade Dauda also praised the President for rolling out new plans to alleviate the sufferings and hardships in the country, which was the reason behind the nationwide protest. He said the President is indeed a beacon of hope.
He therefore, urged Nigerians to support the activities of Mr. President and desist from being instruments for disruption by people who thrive from a failed system. He emphasized the importance of unity and working together to achieve a prosperous and stable Nigeria.
