The Presidential Community Engagement Team on 16th May, 2024, met with the Director General/Chief Executive Officer of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Mr. Kashifu Abdullahi Inuwa, to discuss a strategic roadmap and action plan aimed at promoting digital literacy, talent cultivation, and inclusive access to digital infrastructure and services in communities.
During the meeting, key areas of focus were identified, including the importance of digital literacy among youths, the need for talent cultivation in the field of information technology, and the promotion of women’s participation in capacity-building and skills development initiatives.
Mr. Inuwa expressed his commitment to working closely with the Presidential Community Engagement Team to advance these initiatives and ensure that all Nigerians have equal access to digital opportunities.
The meeting underscored the importance of collaboration between government agencies and community stakeholders in driving progress towards a more digitally inclusive society.
