An ophthalmic surgeon and community leader, Otunba Adekunle Hassan, formally declared his interest before members of the Jadiara branch of the Fusengbuwa Ruling House in Ijebu Ode.
Hassan made his declaration at the historic Igboburo compound, where princes, princesses, chiefs and prominent figures in Ijebuland gathered to witness what many described as a strong bid for the revered stool.
