Prince Elegushi Oyekanmi Takes Over As The GM Of ĹASIMRA

Elegushi Oyekanmi, Lawyer, Politician, Real Estate and Fintech Entrepreneur, has been appointed and has assumed duty as the General Manager of the Lagos State Infrastructure Maintenance and Regulatory Agency (LASIMRA).

Elegushi Oyekanmi is a highly accomplished individual who has excelled in multiple fields, including law, politics, real estate, and fintech. With a strong focus on property law, he has established himself as a renowned lawyer with vast experience. His diverse experience in the legal field and in fintech has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of various industries.

In addition to his successful career as a legal practitioner and business man, Elegushi Oyekanmi has actively participated in politics, particularly within Lagos state. His expertise and dedication have earned him prominent positions in the political scene, where he made significant impacts.

He was appointed as the Executive Secretary/Legal Adviser at the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA) by the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu in 2020, and having served a successful tenure at LASWA, Elegushi Oyekanmi was appointed as the Executive Director at Ibile Holdings Limited, a position of great responsibility. His exceptional performance and proven leadership skills led to his subsequent appointment as the Acting Managing Director at Ibile Holdings Ltd. This short but highly successful tenure further showcased his potentials and demonstrated his ability to drive growth and success.

Currently, Elegushi Oyekanmi holds the esteemed position of General Manager/CEO at the Lagos State Infrastructure Maintenance and Regulatory Agency (LASIMRA). With his vast knowledge, experience, and proven track records, he is set to lead LASIMRA to greater heights of success while contributing to improved infrastructure management within Lagos state.

In her welcome address, the Director Public Affairs of the Agency, Ms. Abadariki Oluremi, said that the Management and staff would give the GM their unflinching support towards ensuring his successful tenure in office. In her goodwill address the Director Administration and Human Resource, Mrs Toyin Oladeji prayed that his tenure will bring more success to LASIMRA.

Addressing the Management and staff of LASIMRA, Elegushi Oyekanmi said he will run an open door policy whereby every individual will be free to contribute effectively to the development of the agency. He further stated that, his concern is to build on the current structure set up by the past administration of Engr. (Mrs.) Bisoye Coker- Odusote and make amendments where necessary.

The new General Manager stated his commitment to improving the welfare of the agency’s staff. In his words, “staff’s welfare and growth is prime if we must move the agency to a greater height.” He then enjoined the staff to work as a family and respect the norms and values of the agency in order to achieve the set goals.
