Prince Okedele Timothy Olusegun – MD/CEO of Prince Adesoke Int’l Ventures has commended the
Executive Governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, for his unusual capacity for innovation, the thinking and the resilience in the face of economic challenges in the state.

Okedele stated this after his return from his home town, Iragbiji, in Osun State where he went to invest on the new renewable/alternative energy technology development to support the State’s Micro, Small, Medium and Large Scale businesses.

He noted that from what he saw, the Governor had the determination to surmount the hurdles, offset the debts of the state and create actions that will grow the internally generated revenue for the real expansion of the economy of the state through infrastructural and overall development of the state.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that Okedele then  urged the people of the state  to show the governor adequate support by paying their taxes and contributing their quota in the present scheme of things, especially as the governor is poised for economic recovery, rejuvenation and reactivation despite the limited time he had.

Okedele described and affirmed that Aregbesola’s bold steps were born out of a penchant to lay a good foundation
necessary for an enviable legacy that will be a good paradigm for his successors.

“I thank the Governor for the moves to offset debts owed workers within the duration of his administration and the move to strategically actualize the Osun State 10-year economic growth plan” he said.

On the issue of power deficit which he described as a key bottleneck for industrial and commercial growth as well as higher standard of living, Okedele urged the Governor to declare the “Osun State Clean Energy Future” Initiative and set up the State Ministry of Renewable Energy” as it existed in nations like South Korea, Vietnam and Australia,  to be able to implement energy efficiency, cut land pollution and to harness multiple investment on renewable energy for massive economic development for citizens.

Okedele used the medium to invite the Governor to South Korea (ENTECH: 2018) Environment & Energy Trade show, where he said the innovative investors would meet and to use the platform to promote the state’s economic potentials and know more on the use of renewable energy technology to create new business startups and add value to the state economic growth.

He advised the Governor to seek for collaboration with well meaning Osun State citizens from both home
and abroad for the needful steps for a new wave of economic growth of the MSMEs in the over all interest of the State.

He reiterated his commitment and  assured the Governor of his readiness and ability to attract investors with funding capacity into the State of Osun in the Agric sector through the solar powered irrigation technology for farmers in the year round farming.
