Her Private Part Was Already Mature – Says Man, 33, Who Defiled Girl, 12

A 33-year old man, Sunday Nwokolo, who was arrested for allegedly sleeping with a 12-year old girl, revealed that the victim was already mature in her private part because it was so easy for him to penetrate her.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that Nwokolo was arrested after he was allegedly caught having sex with the victim in their area at First Gate in Mazamaza, Satellite Town, Lagos, where they reside.

He was said to have lured the victim into his apartment and engaged her in a sex romp before he allowed her to go.
The act got exposed after their neighbours, who saw the victim when she was coming out from the suspect’s apartment, confronted her and alerted her parents. She then revealed what happened.
Nwokolo was confronted on why he slept with the under aged girl and he insisted that the victim was mature enough and she consented to the act before he did it.
However, he was handed over to the Police in the area, where he insisted that it was not a case of rape as alleged by her parents.
The Police transferred the matter to the Gender Section of the State Command where he was found culpable and charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for defilement and remanded in prison custody without an option of bail.
The prosecutor, Supol Benson Emerhi, told the Court that the victim was a minor and the alleged offence which the defendant had committed was felony and needed the DPP’s advice.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.Sule-Amzat, ordered him to be remanded in prison custody. She also directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice.
The matter was adjourned till 14th October, 2019.
