Prof. Cecilia Eme To Deliver First Igbo Keynote Speech At AMTY Award

Renowned Professor of Linguistics, Cecilia Amaoge Eme, is set to make history as the first Igbo keynote speaker at the prestigious AMTY Awards. Her keynote address will focus on the theme “Gbakotanu ka Anyi Dozie Obodo Dike”. 

 

Prof. Eme, a distinguished academic from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, has made significant contributions to the field of linguistics, specializing in Phonetics and Phonology. Her research interests include Sociolinguistics, Psycholinguistics, Documentary Linguistics, and Applied Linguistics.

 

Previous keynote speakers at the AMTY Awards include notable personalities such as Professor Stella Chinyere Okunna, Dr. George Moghalu, and Dr. Francisca Unoma Nwafulugo. Prof. Eme’s keynote address is expected to be a highlight of the event, showcasing her expertise and passion for linguistics.
