Apex Niger Delta socio-cultural group, Orashi National Congress (ONC), has announced a new date for the grand investiture ceremony of Her Excellency, Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu, DSSRS, Deputy Governor of Rivers State, as Grand Patroness of the Congress.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the investiture will now take place on Friday, 17th January, 2025, by 11:00 AM prompt, at EGI Women Development Center, Akabuka, Onelga, Rivers State.
The Orashi National Congress regrets any inconvenience the announcement of the new date will cause invited guests, well-wishers, stakeholders, and the general public.
According to Amb. Comr. Emeni Ibe, the President General of Orashi National Congress, the Special Guests of Honour at the event are His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, Executive Governor of Rivers State, and Rt. Hon. Ehie Edison O., PhD, DSSRS, Chief of Staff, Rivers State Government House.
Expected as Guests of Honour are Hon. Prince Nwabuwheoma Isaac-Umejuru, Executive Chairman, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni, Hon. Vincent Reuben Obu, Executive Chairman, Abua/Odual, Hon. Chibudhom Rizzy Ezu, Executive Chairman, Ahoada-East, and Hon. Iyekor Ikporo, Executive Chairman, Ahoada-West.
According to the Chairman of the Planning Committee, DSP Sunday Okocha Kasi (Rtd), the historic investiture is expected to bring together key dignitaries, community leaders, and citizens to celebrate Her Excellency Prof Ngozi Nma Odu for her remarkable contributions to the Orashi region and Rivers State at large.
