CYRIACUS IZUEKWE

Prophet Onyekachukwu Okoli of the Living Abundance Mount Zion Prophetic and Deliverance Ministry has warned Nigerians not to lose hope and castigate President Muhammadu Buhari because he was chosen by God to accomplish a purpose.
The Clergy said if we fail to support him and the government collapses, everybody will suffer the consequence, adding that it is also a sin not to support people in authority
Okoli stated this recently while speaking on the State of the Nation at the Church headquarter in Ikotun, Lagos State, Nigeria.
He also said those who think Nigeria will break up should forget such thought because it is not the wish of God for Nigeria to disintegrate.
He noted there are hard times in the land at present and declared that it will not last long and enjoined Nigeria to give Buhari a chance to correct bad mistakes of the past and new Nigeria will emerge.
He said the circumstance in which Buhari emerged as President despite all odds showed that “God was behind him for a purpose and we  owe him daily prayers for him to succeed and not castigation.”
The Prophet added that any good thing comes with sacrifice and other great Nations in the world have passed through such process before they stand as nations.

He declared that Nigeria will not be different.
Okoli noted that rather blaming the Buhari, religious leaders should be blamed for the crises facing the country.
He noted that there are many churches and Mosques with their leaders in everywhere in cities and communities in Nigeria who pretended that they are offering prayer for our leaders and Nigeria.
He said it is unfortunately their prayers are helpless because the leaders are praying for their pockets.
“Most Ministers of God are cowards and hypocrites who have soiled their hands and they could not speak truth to leaders because of their desire for material things,” Okoli noted.
On those group agitating for break up such Biafra, Boko Haram, and Niger Delta militants among others, Okoli advised them to stop the agitation because they are wasting their time.
He urged them to join hands with other Nigerians to build a new nation for the interest of the people.

The prophet then advised the government to engage the youths more through employment opportunities because when they become busy, they would have less time for agitation and violence.
On his work as a shepherd Okoli said his ministry started 29 years ago when he was called as a prophet and since then he has been doing the work God sent him by engaging both the youths, men and women by attending to both their spiritual and material needs as provided by God.
