An illustrious son of Ogbunike Town in Anambra State, Pst (Amb) Sunny N. St Clement PhD, the Board Chairman, Oganiru Ogbunike Development Initiative, has praised and appreciated the developmental drives and efforts of respected culture exponent, Chief Chuma-Odili Harris Udokamma PhD (Ogene Ogbunike), geared towards the betterment of the ‘cave town’.
While expressing his thoughts about Ogene Ogbunike’s efforts, Pst (Amb) Sunny N. St Clement said, “Blessings! May I seize this opportunity to appreciate your kind gesture and supports toward the development of Ogbunike Community”.

Following his inputs and efforts towards the success of the just concluded OPU Election, Dr Kenechukwu Mgbolu, a University Don and an illustrious son of Ogbunike, also extolled the good virtues of Dr Chuma-Odili Harris “Ogene Ogbunike,
Dr Mgbolu said recently,” I am very happy for your well composed and articulated submissions towards fast- tracking progress in Ogbunike. Your suggestions are credible, thought provoking and timely too. All hands should be on deck now to build a new Ogbunike.”

“A word is enough for the wise and a stitch in time saves nine. To God be the Glory! We expect giant strides by the new executive, but our duty to give them necessary support where it is needed” he said.
It will be recalled that for years, Chief Dr Chuma-Odili Harris Udokamma has been at the forefront of agitation for the recognition and face-lift of the Ogbunike Cave for its tourism potentials. At some point during the Obiano’s administration, Ogene Ogbunike called out the then First Lady and daughter of Ogbunike, Chief Mrs. Ebele Obiano, to help draw the attention of her husband, Akpokuedike, to rescue the town from infrastructural deficits.
It is also on record how Ogene Ogbunike attracted International Film Festival to the cave city in 2014, which was sponsored by Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Nollywood. He has equally used his media profession to shoot sons and daughters of Ogbunike to limelight while assisting others in growing their political careers.
It is therefore, not out of place that illustrious sons and daughters of the Cave Town have singled him out for appreciation as he has mentored many Ogbunike youths in the art of film making and media industry. Only recently, he organised the first ever Ogbunike Leadership Summit alongside other respected Ogbunike Indigenes.
A cursory look at Ogene Ogbunike, shows that he is passionate about Ogbunike and has dedicated his life, career and resources to making sure that the town regains its pride place in the comity of communities/towns in Anambra State.
