The ex Polonia Warsaw midfield trojan further stated that the aim of the upcoming pre-season tagged “Ifeanyi Ekwueme Tico/Select NPFL 2021 Preseason Tournament” was to help improve the quality of the Nigeria Professional Football League.

“This tournament is aimed at providing a platform for the clubs to knock their teams into shape ahead of the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season. This is part of our plans to help and prepare some of the teams for the usual tough challenges of the NPFL and it is our belief that this will definitely rub off on their performances by the time the new season starts.”
