The A-grade Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife, had on Wednesday, January 6, 2020, lifted the lid on part of the reasons she attracted solar street lights in many communities in the Senatorial District.
Ekwunife made the revelation during the funeral ceremony of late Mrs. Monica Anyaeche, the mother of Chief Ernest Anyaeche. Chief Anyaeche is the Director of Ochendo Industries Nigeria Ltd.
Speaking, Ekwunife said that she attracted solar street lights to help light up the communities and improve security of lives and property during the yuletide season and beyond.
Let’s don’t forget that Aguluzigbo is one of the numerous communities in the zone that the Chairman Senate Committee on Science and Technology recently attracted the installation of solar street lights in different locations. Some others include, Nibo, Isiagu, Obeledu, Urum, Akwaeze, Eziowelle, Ojoto, Oraukwu, Nnobi, Alor, Abacha, Nri, Nnokwa, Awka, Ukwulu, Ezinato, Amanuke, Nise, Enugwu-Ukwu, Nawfia, Ugbene, Awba-Ofemili, Okpuno, Ugbenu and Isuaniocha.
During the condolence visit, Ekwunife on behalf of her family and constituents offered sincere condolences to the family.
