A 67-year old Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church God, RCCG, Rev. Michael Ayanrinde, has landed in trouble after he was allegedly caught fondling the breasts of an 13-year old girl inside his wife’s shop in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that Pastor Ayanrinde has been arrested and is now in Police custody for sexual assault which attracts several years of imprisonment if he is tried and found guilty before the Court.

The incident happened at Alapere Road, Ketu area of Lagos, where his wife’s shop is located.

He was said to have on several occasions lured the victims with gifts like eggs and money whenever his wife was not around in order to entice her and fondle her breasts until the victim’s parents discovered.

The dastardly act was exposed following an information obtained from one of the child advocates, Comrade Adeyemi Akin-Akala, who led the father of the victim to the Police station in the area and incidented the matter. Thus, the Police arrested Ayanrinde and detained him at the Station for interrogation.

During interrogation, he denied engaging the victim in sex romp but was said to have admitted that he actually touched her breasts in his wife’s shop in the area. The matter was later transferred to the Gender Section of the Police Command for further interrogation because of the seriousness of the crime alleged to have been committed by Pastor Ayanrinde.

When P.M.EXPRESS correspondent contacted the Police at Kete Division, the DPO was not around to confirm the incident.
However, a Police source confirmed that they received information over the alleged rape and arrested the suspect.
However, the source referred our reporter to the Gender Section of the Police Command for further information.

P.M.EXPRESS scooped that Pastor Ayanrinde was still undergoing interrogation at the Police Command over the alleged rape and the matter will be charged to Court after the conclusion of investigations and if Pastor Ayanrinde is found culpable.
