In a bid to select thirty good players for the scouting programme scheduled for November in the Benin Republic, founder and manager of Relief Global Football Academy, David Babarinsa Moshood has concluded all arrangements to organize one day screening exercise for young players within the age of 15 to 17 years.
The screening exercise would hold on 15, September 2021 at Concord playground, Mafoluku, Oshodi, Lagos.
Moshood said the screening exercise is necessary to select and assess the players who are good enough to face the scouting programme in the Benin Republic.
“This screening exercise is the talk of the town now in Oshodi and its environs. We have created enough publicity and awareness about this programme and I am impressed with responses of the players. The screening exercise is free and we are expecting more than 100 players to take part in the screening exercise,” he said.
Moshood said the selected players would be travelled to the West African country for the trial programme and only good players that are selected by the football agents would play in European clubs.
“I hope some of our players may be selected in the Benin Republic because there are many players coming from different parts of West African countries and any player being selected would feature in European clubs. This is to tell you that the organisers of the scouting programme have football agents in Europe that are working with some clubs in Europe,” he said.
