LUCKY LAWAL

Hon. Prince Miracle Ogbebor, the State Coordinator Obaseki/Shuaibu Movement, has called on members of the movement in all the Local Government Areas of the State, to disregard his purported suspension, describing it as a ruse and the handiwork of some disgruntled elements within the body.
He made this known when he spoke with Press men at the State capital recently.
His word: “I find the whole rumour laughable because I expected those behind this charade to have been schooled in what is called due process. It is a shame that though they claimed to be people who are highly placed in the society, yet their actions and inactions as regard these issues, have shown clearly that it is the handiwork of a people who are hallucinating”.
Maintaining that he remains the State Coordinator until he is duly removed, he wondered why some misguided elements sit in the confines of their bedroom to come out with such ludicrous decision.
Continuing, he said even if all they alleged was true, he is of the opinion that in the principle of fair hearing, they should have mustered enough courage to invite his person to appear before the said stakeholders and given fair hearing. Then they would have been justified in whatever actions they took thereafter, insisting that until that is done, he remains the State Coordinator.
On the issue of the founder of the body, he said he is not reneging on his claims, challenging those who think otherwise, to come out with their version.
“If you are invited after an idea has been conceptualized and you merely gave flesh to the idea, does that make you the originator?” he asked.
Speaking further, he said he still had the list of those, whom he contacted at the inception, and stressed that it is regrettable that it is not those personalities that are sowing seeds of discord, but those who were later invited when the body had been given muscle and life.
‘I have the support of members across party lines in all the 192 wards of the LGA who are solidly behind me and who have expressed disgust at these high wired betrayers of friends, who want to reap where they never sowed” Prince Ogbebor submitted.
Stressing that Obaseki remains the candidate to beat in forthcoming election, he called on party faithful to support the Obaseki/Shaibu 2020 Movement for a second term.
