Residents of Isolo were said to be in panic mode as deadly bandits known as ‘One Minute Boys’ on Sunday reportedly held a crucial meeting over the arrest, intimidation and harassment of their members by Police operatives in Isolo area of Lagos.

The meeting was reportedly held at Panada Street in Isolo, a place well known as their base in the area, where they were said to have gathered and deliberated on how to react and manage the onslaught on their members and further their activities in the area.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the police had declared serious war against them following complaints by the Isolo monarch over their activities which had almost grounded the economic activities in the area. The residents were said to be practically working for them as they visit houses, shops and markets to rob both during the day and at night.

It was gathered that the robbers agreed to send a delegation to the Police and work out modalities on how to bring out their members who were remanded in prison custody at Kirikiri, Lagos, after they were arrested and arraigned in Court.

According to some residents, they also resolved to monitor and ensure that the residents will never appear in Court to testify against their members already arraigned in Court for causing violence and extorting from shop owners at the Oba of Isolo International market recently.
P.M.EXPRESS had earlier reported the arrest and arraignment of their female leader and armourer, Mrs. Joke Mojeed, 52, who was nabbed with some drug exhibits after she had aided the escape of some of their members during police operations in the area.
Residents, who were said to have reportedly picked the pieces of the meeting by the ‘One Minute Boys’ on Sunday, said that they are now looking forward to see how the Police will handle the case involving the dreaded group while expressing deeper fear about appearing to testify against the ones already arrested and arraigned in Court.
