Respected Catholic Catechist, Pa Sylvester Chukwubueze Ezenwa Anire (Nnanyereugo) Okpara Ukwu Umudara, Ihiala, Anambra State, who answered God’s call to eternal glory on 1st May, 2021, is set to be buried on 7th January, 2022.
According to the burial programme signed by Mr. Anthony Ezenwa on behalf of the family, the respected Catholic Church worker, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and community leader in Umualaehobi in Umuarom Umudara Village Ihite Ihiala, Anambra State, will begin his final journey to eternal bliss on 6th January, 2022, with a Vigil Mass at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Ihite Ihiala by 5pm.
On 7th January, 2022, Pa Sylvester Ezenwa’s body is expected to leave Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Ihiala, to his compound, Umuarom Umudara Village Ihite Ihiala, for lying-in-state by 8am. Thereafter, the motorcade will move over to St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Ihite Ihiala for the Requiem Mass by 10am.
Interment will follow immediately after the Requiem Mass in his compound while other burial rites, condolence visits and activities will continue.
On 9th January, 2021, there is expected to be a Thanksgiving Mass by the Ezenwa family at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Ihite Ihiala, Anambra State to round up the burial activities.
