“It is not the years in the life of a man that count, but the life in his years.”

Ndi Abba across the country and in Diaspora, are today throwing caution to the wind as they celebrate the life of one of the greatest gifts from God to Abba Ama -Ano, Nwangele people and entire humanity; His Royal Highness, Eze Ndubueze Maduabuchukwu (Uburu II of Abba).

Eze ND, as you are fondly known and called by many, is a study in humility and leadership discipline

A self contented humble rich man, whose lifestyle and brand of traditional leadership provides the nexus for people – factor and all inclusive traditional institution. A kind- hearted community leader, who invested his wealth of experience, sacrificed his personal resources, energy and family pleasure to serve the old Abba as her President General in his early years.

Today, Eze Ndubueze Maduabuchukwu needs little or no introduction in Nwangele LGA, having come from the most strategic community and Local Government area in Imo State; Abba Ama-Ano, arguably though.

Before his emergence as the traditional ruler of Abba Autonomous Community (Umuokwara in the old Abba), he was among the indomitable political Abba leaders in Nwangele LGA, whose opinions were not only highly respected but also sought after before, during and after general elections.

You may like or hate him for his candor and personal drive for selfless community service and even his demeanour, as most people had over the years erroneously mistaken his fearless disposition, unbending leadership and outspokenness for being  unnecessarily stubborn, opinionated and too starchy.

A development driven and passionate Abba illustrious leader, who had learnt and mastered the ropes and dynamics of boardroom business strategy and traditional leadership and the need for brand loyalty and traditional royalty.

Eze Nubueze Maduabuchukwu is a very honest, blunt and pragmatic community leader, whose independent opinions and contributions in any social gathering usually sound like fireworks and resonate in the hearts like a thunderbolt, especially, to those who are uncomfortable with the truth. Ironically, his new social status and position had invariably affected this rare leadership attribute about him.

His consistent business exploits, track records of service delivery  and growing trajectory in the non-oil subsector of Nigeria’s economy over the last two decades is a huge testimony that God could raise a highly focused mind from the grass and set him high on the pinnacle of his destiny.

Eze Ndubueze Maduabuchukwu is the Founder |Chairman, SANTA SEED NIG. LTD; an indigenous Industrial Equipment Leasing and Oil Servicing Company in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.

Born to the family of late Chief & Lolo Peter Maduabuchukwu, one of the foremost founding fathers of the old Abba alongside legendary Uruogu sons in the likes of late His Royal Highness, Eze Azuzu from Umudurunna Abba, Chief S.O. Akwiwu, Chief Jacob Ozigbu, Chief Lawrence Unaka, Chief Joseph Maranzu,  Chief James Annumaka, Chief James Uzoma, Chief John Nwafor, Chief Ofoha Nwosu, Chief John Anokwuru, the late Chief Okenyeka, among others across the four Autonomous Communities in the new Abba. All of the blessed memory!

Married to Ugoeze Ngozi Pauline Maduabuchukwu (Nee Onuoha), the marriage is blessed with young successful children and all  graduates in different professional fields.

As His Royal Highness, Eze Ndubueze Maduabuchukwu, celebrates yet another fruitful year to his years, let us therefore, pray God to grant him longevity and good health in his reign for a King; even as we roll the drums to celebrate one of the amazing gifts of God to humanity.

May your throne last long!Long live Uburu II of Abba!!

Happy birthday, Eze Ndubueze Maduabuchukwu!
