The Osun State Government has described as shocking and devastating the death of the wife of the Special Adviser to Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on Sanitation, Builder Rufus Oyegbile. Mrs Abimbola Oyegbile died after a brief illness.
In a condolence message released by the Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Funke Egbemode, the government noted that the demise of Oyegbile’s wife was an irreplaceable loss and prayed God to grant him the fortitude to bear the loss.
Osun government, while describing the death of Mrs. Oyegbile as sad and devastating, urged the grieving husband and the entire family to be strong in the midst of the tragic loss.
The statement read in part: “The government and the good people condole with one of the state’s distinguished public servants, Mr. Rufus Oyegbile, and the entire family, on the passing of his wife, Mrs. Abimbola Oyegbile after a brief illness.
“Without a doubt, this is a rude shock and a very painful development. The State Executive Council and indeed the entire state share in the pain of Hon Oyegbile but we are consoled that the deceased ran a good Christian race. We urge the family to stay strong at this time of grief.
“We commend the family and loved ones of Mrs. Oyegbile into the hands of Almighty God, and pray that God grants them the fortitude to bear the loss”, the statement read.
