Salimo Witts Foundation Launches Youth Clubs In Lagos

Salimo-Wits Foundation, an initiative established to train and mentor a new cadre of young leaders and entrepreneurs in order to achieve their full potentials has launched three chapters of its youth leadership clubs across different locations in Lagos state.

The new chapters were launched on Saturday, 24 November, 2018 at Ibeju/Lekki, Yaba and Alimosho.

Mr. Roland Eyetu, a board member of the foundation, welcomed the youths and encouraged them to work closely with the foundation. He added that Salimo-Wits will provide the necessary infrastructure and enablement needed in uplifting youths in order to be productive in the society. He further said that Salimo-Wits is all about Empowering the youths.

“Salimo-Wits Foundation will work with you as a partner, as an ally and as a friend. Salimo-Wits will provide you with the training, tools, mentorship, guardianship and support required to achieve what God created you to be.”

Also speaking at the event, Mr. Emmanuel Owoyemi, a member of the board of the organization, emphasized the vision of the foundation. He said: “Our vision is to build leaders that will berth change in our generation. What we are doing today is to officially launch Salimo-Wits Youth Leadership Clubs in different parts of Lagos state so that we can raise more young people who would become leaders that would berth change in our Country.”

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke at the event also expressed their delight on how the foundation has transformed the lives of so many people.

“When I came into this foundation, I was confused and I had no direction in life, they were able to guide me and now I have my own business. No one in this life is useless, all we need is a mentor, thanks to Salimo for transforming my life,” said one of the beneficiaries.

Salimo-Wits Foundation is a registered NGO founded by Mr. Dan Ekoko in June 2012. The organization is committed to harnessing and maximizing the leadership potentials of youths through value, principle and character-based training.
