A former House of Assembly aspirant and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos, Hon Olaide John Bello, popularly known as OJB, has described the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, as a symbol of peace and a bridge builder.

Hon. Bello made the remark in Ikoyi, Lagos, after the APC governorship candidate, Sanwo-Olu, met with the aspirants on the platform of the All Progressives Congress who could not clinch the tickets to represent the party for the Lagos State House of Assembly elections in 2019.

“Honestly, I must commend the efforts of the candidate of our great party, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu. Since his emergence as the flag bearer of the APC in the gubernatorial election, he has shown genuine concern towards reconciling aggrieved members, stakeholders and aspirants who nursed different opinions as a result of the outcome of the primary election that took place not long ago across the state. Sanwo-Olu is indeed a symbol of peace and a bridge builder” he said.

Hon. Bello said that the action of Mr. Sanwo-Olu has shown that he is a good manager of men and resources and the right man to take Lagos State to greater heights. He advised other aspirants who could not get the party ticket to put behind whatever were their grievances and work for the success of Mr. Sanwo-Olu and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming election.
