The battle to settle supremacy scores between two women, Mrs. Elizabeth Sanyaolu and her rival Titilope Olalekan, ended in a disaster as they fought publicly in Lagos.
The incident happened at Ogunmbabi Street, off Alhaji bus stop, Liasu Road in Idimu, Lagos.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Mrs. Sanyaolu inflicted a serious injury on Mrs. Olalekan’s eye, knocked her down with blows and she sustained various degrees of injury. She was rushed to a hospital where she was undergoing treatment to revive her.
Mrs. Sanyaolu has been arrested and charged before a Ejigbo Magistrates court.
It was gathered that both the victim and suspect had been rivals and they resorted to settle the scores by fighting publicly. It was during the fight that Mrs.
Sanyaolu injured Olalekan which has landed her in trouble.
When she was arraigned, she pleaded not guilty.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. T.O. Shomade granted her bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum.
The prosecutor, Supol Kenneth Asibor did not object to her bail but informed the court that the victim suffered serious injuries as a result of the assault.
Mrs. Sanyaolu was remanded in prison pending when she will perfect her bail condition,
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that both the victim and the suspect were regretting the whole thing as the victim was rushed to a hospital while the suspect was sent to prison.
According to the residents, they were all losers after they had warned them to live in peace.
