A new Nigerian football wizkid was unveiled to the world in far away Sofia, Bulgaria at the venue of SATUC World Cup when Abidemi Salau Mohammed dazzled as John Utaka Foundation Football team defeated Syria 7-1.
Abidemi was too dangerous to tackle as he scored the first hatrick of the tournament in the demolition of Syria. Ibrahim Hussaini also got a brace , while Nura Umar and Hussaini Arafat got a goal each to condemn the middle east country to a defeat .
The Nigeria football sensations also defeated Morocco 4-2 in their second with four different players scoring the goals . Hussaini Arafat, Ibrahim Hussaini , Williams Mike Wassa and Samuel Francis Ihejieto finding the back of the net in the game.
It is a 5 -Aside Under 16 tournament for the Under Privileged children in the world and there are 12 teams competing at the tournament .
John Utaka Foundation Football Team is representing Nigeria at the tournament and the team had already qualified for the quarter -finals courtesy of their two wins to top the group that comprised of just three teams in each group.
The 5 – Aside tournament is played 15 mins in each half and this type of football is all about the stamina , skills and accurate shots of players in determining the winner in a game.
Nigeria will trade tackles against Cameroon in the quarter finals 2 pm Nigerian time.
