SBLive Wins City People Most Stylish Showbiz Personality

Contemporary live band musician, David Seun Bankole, popularly known as SBLive, has won City People Most Stylish Showbiz Personality of the year award.

SBLive was crowned on Sunday June 30 at a ceremony held at the prestigious Coliseum Event Centre , Lekki, Lagos.

The event, which had a lot of celebrities in attendance, was exciting from the beginning and reach anti-climax at the end.

SBLive, who recently released a new EP titled, Orire, revealed his excitement as he received the award: “I’m very happy winning this award. It is a sign of progress for me. It has been very rough to reach this level in my scintillating musical career. I fought hard as well with empty stomach before my parents could give me the opportunity to do music. I’m still aspiring more.

“I will keep working hard. I will not disappoint my family, fans who have been there for me. This is the beginning. I thank City People management for the award.”

Meanwhile, talented SBLive has concluded plans to embark on his much anticipated United States musical tour.

The singer’s reps told PMEXPRESS that SBLive will be leading his band on a performing tour of major US cities including Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Indianapolis, Philadelphia, Maryland and Atlanta.

It was also disclosed that SBLive on his return to Nigeria will stage a massive concert in October for his fans who have been there for him.

The SBLive and his band is well known for his weekly gigs at Radisson Blu in GRA Ikeja, Lagos and District 10 Lounge CMD Road, Magodo, Lagos (Friday and Sunday) respectively.
