According to the Police, one of the school teachers, Mr. Olugbenga Egberongbe, had in January, 2025 allegedly raped the students in the school premises. And when the suspect got information about what happened to the victims, she reportedly consealed it and did not report to the Police.
However, the information later leaked to the victims parents, who confronted the suspect and it was discovered that she knew about it but concealed it without informing the Police.
The matter was reported to the Police in the area. She was arrested and detained at the station for interrogation over her alleged conduct. After thorough interrogation, the Police found her culpable and charged her before the Ogba Magistrate Court for the alleged offence which attracts several years of imprisonment.
