The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, Hon Segun David Odunmbaku, has hosted an extraordinary inaugural meeting with CDC/CDA Executives at the Council Secretariat, Oke-Ira Ogba.
Hon Segun Odunmbaku, in his speech at the meeting, said his administration has always pursued community centered and oriented policies as exemplified by the appellation of the current budgetary process tagged “Community Driven Budget”, which encapsulates the input of community stakeholders in the decision making process of governance.
He further stated his commitment to working closely with the Community Development Committees and Associations towards implementation of more people involved projects that would impact the grassroots.
The CDC/CDA Chairman, Pastor Fayemi, extolled the Mayor of Ojodu LCDA, Hon Segun Odunmbaku, for his participatory governance that has placed CDC/CDA as valuable partners in governance while stating their readiness to key and align with his developmental vision termed H.E.Y.S Agenda.
Hon Segun Odunmbaku, in his own remarks to the CDC Executives, said his administration is open to suggestions from community stakeholders and also stated plans to sanitize black spots from crime and drugs, build recreational centers, provide functional primary health centers across all wards while inviting them as paramount participants to the Ojodu LCDA Carnival as their Ankara is already allocated.
Pastor Fayemi, on behalf of the CDC Executives, appreciated the Ojodu Mayor for his cooperative and collaborative gestures while urging other political office holders to emulate his community oriented policies.
At the meeting were the Vice Chairman, Hon Bunmi Oluyadi, Chief Of Staff, Mr. Dapo Adeoye and members of the CDC/CDA Executives.
