Segun Odunmbaku Receives Award For Infrastructural Development, Engages Residents At Site & Church Visitations

The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, has been recognized for his proactive and steadfast commitment to infrastructural development as he was honoured as the *Best Chairman on “Infrastructure” by Lagos-Ikeja City Award* at R & A Hotel, Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos.
His proactive approach to infrastructure development, renewal and maintenance highlighted by his administration’s emphasis on the well-being of residents through the Infrastructural Development Pillar of his H.E.Y.S Agenda was cited as the basis and choice by the organisers of Lagos – Ikeja City Award to honour him for his developmental strides.
The Ojodu Mayor, in his award acceptance speech, said the recognition of his exemplary leadership and outstanding contributions to infrastructure development by the prestigious Lagos-Ikeja City Award as the Best Chairman on Infrastructure is a stimulus for his administration to initiate more programmes that would impact and enhance the quality of life for Ojodu residents.
Hon Segun Odunmbaku, who had earlier embarked on a visitation to CMCM Church, Akiode, where he engaged the congregation to discuss completed and ongoing projects before conducting a thorough inspection of the foot bridge  located near the church connecting Akiode and Oke-Ira. He reaffirmed his commitment and intervention to ensure the quality, safety, efficiency and durability of public amenities in Ojodu LCDA.
Following the unfortunate incident at Akiode, where a building was damaged by fire, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku also visited the site to assess the situation and promise support to affected residents which underscores his compassion and dedication to assisting residents during challenging times.
In the entourage of the Council Chairman and at the award event were the SLG, Hon. Olaide John Bello, Chief Of Staff, Mr. Dapo Adeoye, Hon Lekan Peters and Party Chairperson, Alhaja Stella Kokumo.
