Senator Solomon Adeola (APC, LAGOS West) has commiserated with the family of Comrade Iriekefe Enwibovwe and all members of the Conference 57 Chief Press Secretaries of Lagos State on the death of Comrade Enwibovwe, a member of their group alongside three others in a ghastly motor accident at FESTAC Town during an APC campaign tour of Amuwo Odofin LGA and Oriade LCDA on Monday, February 4.
The accident, which was said to have occurred as a result of over speeding and reckless driving by the driver of Amuwo Odofin LGA chairman, Hon. Valentine Buraimoh’s pilot SUV attempting to join the campaign convoy of the Senator according to Nigerian Police Report on the incident, led to the death of 4 persons and several injured victims.
In a condolence message released to newsmen by Chief Kayode Odunaro, Media Adviser to Senator Adeola, following an earlier one issued on the day of the incident mourning the dead, Senator Adeola urged members of Comrade Enwibovwe family and Conference of CPS57 to take heart on the unfortunate demise of their member who was the Chief Press Secretary to the council chairman stressing that only God knows why the ugly incident happened at this time of political campaign.
“I am saddened by the loss of one of your member and have condoled with the Council Chairman on the day of the accident. I look forward to visiting the family of the deceased at the earliest opportunity to personally condole with his family as well as render assistance” the Senator stated.
