Senator Solomon Adeola, (APC, Ogun West), the Chairman of Senate Committee on Appropriations, has commiserated with the former President of the Senate, Senator Ahmad Lawan on the demise of his mother, Hajiya Halima Daja.
Senator Adeola said he received the news of the passage of Hajiya Daja at the age of 86 on Saturday October 14, 2023 with sadness.
He said the nation has lost an illustrious personality and a great woman in the demise of Hajiya Daja adding that he has no doubt that her demise would be greatly felt by Senator Lawan and his family.
Senator Adeola prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the departed woman and fortitude for the family of the former President of the Senate to bear the irreparable loss.
