The Distinguished lawmaker representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator (Dr.) Solomon Adeola, CON, FCA, FCTI, FFPI, has greeted the Muslim faithful at commencement of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations said, “I, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, on behalf of my family congratulate adherents of Islamic faith in Ogun West Senatorial District and the world over on the commencement of the Islamic Holy Month of Ramadan”.
“The holy month of Ramadan is an important pillar of Islam that is a leveler of the rich and the poor, teaching us equality, magnanimity and total Submission to the will of the Almighty Allah.”
“The holy period extend to us the opportunity of penitence, spiritual cleansing, healing, unity and praying.”
“This year’s Ramadan could not have come at a better time. Our nation needs prayer to scale economic hurdles. As individuals and family units, we need prayer to live through the present challenges to be able witness the glorious dawn.”
“May all our acts of worship during the holy month be accepted by the Almighty as Ibaadah. Amin!” Senator Adeola concluded.
