The Chairman of Senate Committee on Appropriations and Distinguished Lawmaker representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Solomon Adeola, has congratulated Hon (Princess) Adesola Ayoola- Elegbeji of APC for her outstanding victory in the bye- election for the Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency.
The senator stated that the overwhelming victory of Hon Ayoola-Elegbeji clearly demonstrates that the constituents of the constituency endorses the good work started by late Hon Adewunmi Onanuga (Ijaya) and wants a continuation of her effective representation.
“I congratulate the leader of our party in Ogun State, APC, Prince Dapo Abiodun and the executives of the party for the clear victory at the by-election with Hon Ayoola Elegbeji as winner. The victory is an endorsement of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the good work of Prince Abiodun in piloting the affairs of the state” he stated.
Senator Adeola, who is the chairman of Ogun State National Assembly Caucus, said he looks forward to welcoming Hon Ayoola-Elegbeji to the National Assembly, adding that he will ensure that the member-elect enjoys maximum cooperation to continue effective representation of the constituency in National Assembly.
